The pan and led handles are attached in different (less elegant)way than original Calphalon pans. We got this saucepan couple of weeks ago. So, we'll see.The delivery of product by Amazon was flawless. We did not notice any difference in performance, but, as I said, we have it only for couple of weeks and you do expect this product to work for years. At this point it is working fine, but my wife is concern that it is made in China. You can clearly see the difference with Calphalon pans she has that are made in US.

Calphalon has taken a great product and has put it's consumers at risk to save a buck in manufacturing. Given the lack of quality and the dangers associated with goods made in China, these pots should be returned.

Built like a tank, a good deal for thirty bucks on Amazon. This is my most used saucepan.

I don't really like to return item, but this really bothers me. I saw the rating review, and thought I couldn't go wrong with $30 for a saucepan. I want a saucepan that can be versatile and good for high and low heat. My expectation maybe too high. I had it 2 weeks, and tried boiling chicken and stirfry cut chicken vegetables, and it sticks. Both times I used it; I had to scrape the bottom of the pan.
